~ 92 Pts JAMES SUCKLING A fresh and very well-made malbec with some roasted sweet spices, violets, hazelnuts and blue fruits. Tannins are really soft and dusty on the medium-bodied palate. Elegant, scented and long, although there is not a lot of depth and gravity in the center palate. Delicious now. ~ 92 Pts WINE ADVOCATE Now there's also a 2021 Appellation Vista Flores Malbec from the collection of IG wines. It was produced with grapes from loamy soils with rounded stones at 1,100 meters above sea level. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in French oak barrels, 35% of them new, for 12 months. It has moderate 13.7% alcohol and very good acidity and freshness, reflecting a cool vintage, with varietal notes of violets, berries and herbs and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins. 54,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2022.
