It was made from the Quinta?s best grapes, slowly foot-threaded in lagar, as traditional in the Douro Valley.The wine was aged in old wood casks for the first 12 months, and then in tank until bottling at the 2nd year. It is intense in color, with a bouquet of ripe grapes and forest berries. Elegant, fruity and full-bodied on the palate.
